Sandhills Center cosponsors final 2020 CIT class in Randolph County

During the week of Nov. 16, 2020, in Randolph County, Sandhills Center cohosted the final Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training class of the year. CIT is sponsored by Sandhills Center in partnership with the North Carolina Department of Public Safety, Randolph Community College and NAMI. Scotty Kidd with the NC Department of Public Safety Community Corrections served as host officer. The 40-hour class graduated 25 participants, representing the Asheboro Police Department, Greensboro Police Department, High Point Police Department, Department of Public Safety Community Corrections and Randolph County 911.
