Medicaid Expansion

Beginning December 1, 2023, more North Carolinians will be able to get health coverage through NC Medicaid. The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) estimates that more than 600,000 people will be able to get health care through Medicaid Expansion.
