Guilford County hosts April 2018 CIT class

Captain Demarr Inman of the Guilford County Sheriff’s Office served as host officer for the Guilford County Crisis Intervention Team training class that was held April 22-26, 2019. This was the third class Sandhills Center has cosponsored in Guilford County so far this year. The Guilford County CIT partnership is comprised of Guilford Technical Community College, NAMI-Guilford, the Guilford County Sheriff’s Office and Sandhills Center. Graduates of the CIT class hailed from the following agencies: Guilford Metro 911, NC A&T State University, UNC Greensboro, High Point Police Department, Greensboro Police Department, Guilford County Sheriff’s Office, Archdale Police Department, the North Carolina Department of Public Safety Probation & Parole, and the Piedmont Triad International Airport Police Department.
