This was the first class of CIT to resume in the Sandhills Center region since the COVID-19 pandemic began. Many classes throughout the region have been postponed or rescheduled, however based on the success of the Montgomery County class, Sandhills Center is confident that instruction can continue successfully with the proper protocols in place. Instructors, participants and cosponsors took necessary safety and health precautions as prescribed by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as local health authorites.
