Please see the below reminder from the DMH concerning obtaining your National Provider Identifier (NPI).  This is very important.

Please remind your LME Community Network Providers, they are required to use an NPI number by 5-1-07 !
At this point only 22% (13,353) of ALL type of Medicaid Enrolled Providers with DMA (60,000) have either gotten or submitted their forms for a NPI number.
Forms must be returned by March 31, 2007!  Getting an NPI number is free - not having one can be costly for providers!
