The Council will be hosting a 1 day training for Community Support Provider supervisors, below is the info and attached is the flyer. Training for Supervisors of Community Support - May 7
Training in Innovation and Practice TIP will be hosting a one day session entitled "Supervison for Productivity and Quality: Training for New Supervisors of Community Support" on May 7.
This is a one-day training program designed to increase your ability to articulate work roles and expectations and to reinforce your strengths and the strengths of your staff.
You will Learn to:
- Recognize and apply important supervisory competencies
- Promote skill development in a strength-based approach to supervision
- Apply clear, measurable goals and strategies in supervisory contracts
- Use your peers for continuing education
You can expect to establish work goals based on your identified strengths and to design a sample supervisory plan within the context of your current work situation. Participants will provide case material based upon their own experiences and will treat any information shared as confidential.
