Guilford County holds CIT training
Guilford County held Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training for law enforcement July 30 through August 3, 2018. Twenty officers graduated from the 40-hour course. The NC A&T State University Police Department, Greensboro Police Department, High Point Police Department and the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office were represented. Many of the officers who participated are stationed in the school systems as School Resource Officers. Lt. Demarr Inman from the Guilford County Sheriff’s Office served as the host officer for the training. CIT is a collaboration of NAMI-Guilford, Guilford Technical Community College and Sandhills Center.
