The mission of Sandhills Center is to assure that people in need have access to quality services for mental health, substance abuse and intellectual/developmental disabilities. Sandhills Center’s main office is located in West End, NC. This central location provides easy access to all the cultural and entertainment resources of Pinehurst, Raleigh, Charlotte, Greensboro and Fayetteville, plus local colleges and universities like UNC, NCSU and Duke University. Benefits include vacation, sick leave, holiday pay, 401(k), and retirement under the Local Government Retirement System. Health, dental, vision and life insurance benefits are provided for all full-time employees working 32 or more hours per week. Sandhills Center is a drug-free workplace and drug testing is required. Sandhills Center also is a tobacco-free organization. The use of tobacco products is prohibited on Sandhills Center property.
